Good Morning!
Happy Wednesday!
For whatever reason, the last week has felt incredibly long. Filled with good news and client tours, maximizing every minute of the day has been top of mind. This week, I’m taking you to a building on the Upper East Side that has been reimagined from its prior use. Then, we’ll head around the corner to one of my favorite local spots. There's always something new to discover for a neighborhood with so much history and notoriety!
The Archive Lofts are a collection of 35 units situated in a former MoMa warehouse. Inside and out, the design is conscious of the building’s former life and continues to draw inspiration from its artistic beginnings.

Before heading inside, we have to give mention to the unique facade the building presents. Sexy yet classic, and new-age but familiar. Redone to perfection and brought up to the highest of standards, this building makes itself known without overpowering a discerning neighborhood.

An entrance to a building that makes a statement is non-negotiable, and Archive Lofts’ lobby is the perfect personification of understated grandeur. Warm tones and materials welcome homeowners upon entry. In a call back to the building’s former purpose, art adorns the walls creating conversation for those waiting in the lobby.
On my first visit to the building, I was immediately struck by the gorgeous arched ceilings present in a few of the lines. Mostly found in downtown lofts, to see similar architectural features in something uptown was a welcome surprise.
The primary bedrooms are perfectly proportioned for every need. With lighting inlays, generous footprints, and jaw-dropping views from every window, each suite is a serene retreat from the bustling city below.
The primary bathrooms feature a dual-vanity, deep soaking tub, and separate glass-walled shower. The bathroom incorporates Venatto porcelain-honed flooring and polished wall tile with Italian marble accents, and polished nickel fixtures.
The Archive Lofts offer a curated list of private amenities including a 24-hour attended lobby, fitness studio, bicycle storage, resident lounge, and a furnished roof deck complete with a wet bar and outdoor grill. For added recreation, private rooftop terraces are available for purchase.
My opinion? This building is perfect for those who demand outdoor space (included in every line), appreciators of history, and Lenox Hill aficionados looking for something that isn’t typical for the neighborhood.

Around the corner from The Archive Lofts is The Alvin. A local neighborhood pub tucked away on East 64th St, The Alvin is the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a lowkey drink or perfect for the pregame before heading downtown. I liken The Alvin to being in Harry Potter, as it couldn’t feel more like Hogsmeade. 10/10.

Honey Locust by Behr is this week’s color swatch which is confusing considering how adverse I am to yellow. Very quickly, Yellow can become an overpowering distraction with no end in sight. Honey locust, while yellow, has a deep undertone that softens something much brighter.
As always, THANK YOU. The support for Finding Space & Selling the Hamptons has been unmatched and I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.
might be my favorite apartment yet
What a gorgeous building.
